Take a direct flight on Air China flight number 984 to Beijing, China at 140am. Please arrive at the LAX airport by 10pm on April 18, 2015 for proper check in.
Begin your journey in Beijing, one of the most fascinating cities in the world and the capital of the People’s Republic of China. Over the next several days you will experience the beauty and intrigue of this ancient city that remains both the political and cultural heart of the country. Visit the Tian An Men Square, Forbidden City. An awe-inspiring palace complex that was the home to 24 Chinese Emperors over the course of almost 500 years.
Leave for the Summer Palace after breakfast. Then, visit the Beijing Zoo to see the lovely GIANT Pandas. Next, go for a Hutong Rickshaw Tour follwed by an early dinner at 530pm. Finish the evening with an acrobatic show.
No visit to China would be complete without seeing The Great Wall. Visit the picturesque Juyongguan section and walk along the wall to take in the sweeping vistas. Next, visit the Ming Tomb -Changilng-, the Olympic Bird Nest and finish with a traditional Roast Peking Duck Dinner.
Today you visit the Temple of Heaven in Beijing before leaving to Xian, China. One of the oldest cities in China and known as one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. Xian is the starting point of the SILK Road and home to the Terra Cotta Warriors. Upon arrival you will have dinner at one of the Local Restaurants before calling a night and getting ready for a full day of activities and tours the following day.
Begin your day with a healthy breakfast before your drive to Lintong to visit the Museum of the Terra Cotta Warriors -UNESCO-. The Terra Cotta Warriors is a collection of Terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the 1st emperor of China. Regarded as a form of Funerary Art.
On this day you will visit the Great Mosque of Xian and local Muslim community, Bell Tower Square. You will also visit the Hanyang Tomb Museum, this is the archeological find of the Tomb of a Han Emperor. Finally Transfer over to the Xian airport for your flight to Hangzhou, China.
This morning, visit the beautiful West Lake and enjoy a 45 minute cruise with gorgeous ancient style boat. Followed by a visit to the Green Tea Village and enjoy a TEA Ceremony. You will have the opportunity to visit the Six Harmonies Pagoda and the Tomb of General Yuefei before taking a HIGH SPEED train to Shanghai.
After a delicious, hearty buffet breakfast at the hotel you will leave the hotel for a Shanghai City Tour, Jade Buddha Temple. You’ll also visit the Shanghai Museum with Audio Tour and finish the evening with a Shanghai Era-Intersection Times Acrobatic Show. On Day 10 you will visit the World Financial Center Tower -100th Floor-, the Silk Store, Old Town of Shanghai and the Yu Garden. A nice evening stroll along the Bund to enjoy the Neon Lights of Shanghai. On Day 11 you will visit the Xin Tiandi Bar Street, Shikumen Museum and finish the tour with a lunch at a local restaurant. You will then depart to the airport for your flight back home.
